For our first phase, we will offer a leverage of 1:5 for 100+ different assets for wholesale investors, with the objective of offering more leverage options in the future.

What is wholesale leverage trading (derivatives)?
Wholesale leverage trading uses leveraged "derivative" financial products. This means you are speculating on the rising or falling prices of an underlying asset without owning, buying, selling, or having any rights to the underlying asset itself.
Unlike spot trading, where you buy a crypto asset in spot trading, you own the asset itself and can hold, swap, withdraw, or sell it.
Eligibility requirements
To gain access to the wholesale leverage trading (derivatives) product, you must have a Swyftx account. Additionally, you need to qualify and be approved as a wholesale investor, meaning you need to meet one of the following requirements:
Have net assets of at least AUD $2.5 million; or
Have a gross income of at least AUD $250,000 for each of the last two financial years.
You will also be required to complete an Asset Declaration Form, which must be signed by an authorised accountant who belongs to one of the prescribed Australian professional accounting bodies.

How to fund your derivatives account
If you are transferring funds to use our leverage trading (derivatives) product, first ensure the required balance is available in Australian dollars in your Swyftx spot trading account.

Transferring funds while positions are open will impact your margin level.
Switch to the Leverage Trading platform.
From the Account page, select Transfer funds.
Select Transfer funds.
In the Transfer from field, select SPOT AUD Wallet.
In the Transfer to field, select Leverage AUD Wallet.
Enter the amount you wish to transfer, then select Transfer to Leverage AUD Wallet.
