Depositing crypto to Swyftx is a quick and easy process, but it's important to always double-check the deposit address and ensure you select the correct network before transferring.
We may not be able to recover crypto sent to Swyftx using incorrect details. If the crypto is recoverable, there can be significant recovery fees.
Before you send or receive crypto, it's crucial to understand how to select the correct network. Choosing the wrong network when transferring your crypto will result in funds not arriving at the receiving address.

How to deposit crypto
A destination tag, also known as a memo, is a code that directs a transfer to a specific wallet for assets that use a general deposit address.
Always double-check addresses before sending crypto. We may not be able to recover assets sent to the wrong address.

From the
Dashboard, select Deposit.Search, then select the asset you want to deposit.
Select Continue to create a new receive address.
Select a network, then copy the network address.
Web
Assets where no destination tag is required
Expand the side menu and select
Deposit. In the search bar, search for and select the asset you want to deposit. Alternatively, select one of your recently deposited assets at the top of the asset list.
Select a network to use for your transfer. This must match the network from the sender.
Select the copy button or use the QR code button to copy your address.
Once copied, select I’ve sent my asset.
Select Done on the confirmation page.
Assets where a destination tag is required
Expand the side menu and select
Deposit. In the search bar, search for and select the asset you want to deposit. Alternatively, select one of your recently deposited assets at the top of the asset list.
Select a network to use for your transfer. This must match the network from the sender.
Select Continue on the Destination tag required message.
Select the copy button or use the QR code button to copy your address and destination tag.
Once both have been copied, select I’ve sent my asset.
Select Done on the confirmation page.
Memos and destination tags
Some networks require a memo or destination tag in addition to the address for a successful deposit. The need for a memo or destination tag changes based on the asset and network you're using. Always check the deposit instructions before you transfer funds. If a memo is necessary, we'll clearly indicate it.
What to do if your wallet doesn't support a memo or destination tag
Some wallets don’t allow memos or destination tags for transfers. To deposit crypto to Swyftx when your wallet doesn't support memos or destination tags:
Send your funds from your current wallet to a personal wallet that does support memos or destination tags.
Once the funds are in the second wallet, you can transfer them to your Swyftx account, ensuring to include the required memo or destination tag.
Deposit times
An estimated time of the transfer will be displayed when selecting a network and on the transfer confirmation page. These are only estimates, and delays can occur.
If your crypto deposit does not arrive within 1 hour, please contact our support team.
When sending crypto, a set number of confirmations will determine how soon the deposit will appear in your account. The number of confirmations changes depending on the network used and the traffic on them at the time of the transfer.
Fees for crypto deposits
Swyftx does not charge a fee for receiving crypto into your account. However, network fees apply whenever you send crypto to facilitate the transfer.
Verification
We may ask you to complete further verification before depositing.
How to view all deposits
To check your total deposits, navigate to the Dashboard and scroll down to the Portfolio value chart. Here, you will find the number of orders placed and the total traded, deposited, and withdrawn.
For a more detailed list, go to Transactions, and use the filter Type: Deposit.
