It’s important that the name on your Swyftx account matches your legal name and identification documents for verification purposes.

There are two reasons why you may need to change your name on Swyftx:

• Correcting a mistake in your name from sign up
• Changing your legal name following a name change

Once you submit your name during verification, you won't be able to change it yourself. However, our support team can change it for you.

Correcting a mistake in your name

1. Complete your KYC 1 gold level verification. For more information, visit our support article KYC 1 verification (Gold).
2. Your name should automatically update to match your ID documents once your KYC 1 verification is successful.
3. If your name does not update correctly, please contact our support team.

Changing your legal name

1. Contact our support team and follow the prompts to provide supporting documentation.
2. Once we verify your documents, we will update your account details.

Acceptable documents include:

• Valid ID document
• Marriage certificate
• Divorce certificate
• Name change certificate
