How can we help?

Australian dollar card deposits using Stripe

Depositing Australian dollars (AUD) with a card using Stripe is a quick and secure deposit method.

Stripe is only available to Australian customers. They must use an Australian card, and funds will arrive in their Swyftx account in Australian dollars.

Stripe card deposits are available via Visa or Mastercard. It is essential to ensure you use a card registered with the same name as your Swyftx account.

Stripe as a card deposit method is only available on our web platform for now. Alternatively, we offer Australian dollar card deposits using Banxa.

3D Secure (3DS) is an authentication method that provides an additional layer of security for card transactions, helping protect your account against fraud. 3DS will ask you to verify your identity with your card issuer during payment.

Banks implement different 3DS controls, so depending on which bank you’re using, the verification method may vary; it's up to the bank. The types of verification methods may include:

  • Password or pin
  • One-time-passcode (OTP) sent via SMS, email, or an Authenticator app
  • Biometric verification, such as fingerprint, facial, or voice recognition
  • Push notification to your mobile device

For more details about your bank's specific 3DS method, please contact your bank directly.
