Prepare your Swyftx account for overseas travel

Let us know your travel details before your departure date to ensure your Swyftx account works smoothly while you’re travelling.

This will ensure you can trade without disruptions and help keep your account secure while you’re overseas.

What we need from you

Before you leave, we require you to provide us with the following information through either the live chat or via email (hello@swyftx.com.au):

  • The countries you'll visit
  • Your departure date
  • How long you'll be staying
  • Your return date (if applicable)

 


About using Swyftx when travelling overseas

  • You can still trade on Swyftx while travelling overseas.
  • If you can't receive SMS messages, you won't be able to withdraw crypto. SMS verification is an essential security step for cryptocurrency withdrawals to ensure the safety of your assets.
  • You also need SMS capability to add a bank account to withdraw funds. If you plan to withdraw Australian or New Zealand dollars while travelling abroad, add your bank accounts to your Swyftx account ahead of time.
  • Temporary account restrictions may apply if you access your account outside Australia or New Zealand without letting us know in advance.
  • Some countries may have additional restrictions due to regulatory requirements.

 


What to do when you return

After you return from your travels, you may notice temporary restrictions remain on your account for security reasons. To restore full access, contact our support team via live chat and let us know you're back in Australia or New Zealand. We can then help resolve any restrictions quickly.
