Swyftx supports our customers using self-custody methods such as external wallets to store their crypto. However, we may request proof of wallet ownership as part of our Fraud Prevention and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance measures.
To verify an external wallet, we need:
- A screenshot of the receiving wallet address on the external crypto wallet or platform.
- A screenshot to show that the wallet is registered in your name, email address, or phone number.
If the wallet you are using does not display a name or email, we will need you to provide a screenshot of the wallet open over your Swyftx account on the same device.
By showing your Swyftx profile in the background when you are logged in, we can establish that you are in possession of the wallet account you wish to withdraw to.
Once verified, we will remove the restriction to allow crypto transfers on your account.
