It's important to understand the different types of fees associated with crypto transactions before you begin to trade.
You can read more about any fees charged by Swyftx and how we compare to other exchanges on our trading fees page.
Cash deposits and withdrawals
Australian dollar deposits
We don't charge any fees for cash deposits, with the only exception being card deposits.
There is a 1.99% fee for Australian dollar card deposits.
This fee is taken from your deposit amount. For example, if you deposit $100, you will be credited $98.01.
Your bank may also charge fees.
New Zealand dollar deposits
Banxa, our third-party payment provider for New Zealand dollar card deposits, currently charges a 3.6% fee and up to a 4% spread.
Your bank may also charge fees.
Withdrawals
We don't charge any fees for Australian dollar withdrawals.
New Zealand dollar withdrawals incur a fee of $10 NZD.
If funds are withdrawn to the incorrect bank details, a dishonour fee (of up to $40) may be applied, which are paid to us and our payment provider.
Your bank may also charge fees.
Trading
We charge a 0.6% trading fee across all trades (except for swapping, see below).
Discounts are available for high-volume traders.
Sending crypto
Withdrawals or transfers of crypto incur a 'network' or 'mining' fee. These fees are charged by wallet handlers who facilitate crypto transfers across the network.
Swyftx does not charge a fee in addition to the wallet handler’s fee but will deduct the fee from the asset you are sending to pay the wallet handler.
Read more about Network fees.
Swapping crypto
Swap orders combine a single sell and buy order. Both incur a 0.6% fee (a total of 1.2%).
You can swap any crypto you hold on Swyftx for any other one we list.
