We offer multiple ways to buy crypto on Swyftx, including instant market orders, on trigger orders, Auto invest (Recurring orders), and swap orders.

You can buy crypto with Australian dollars, US dollars, New Zealand dollars, or Bitcoin.

To perform trades, your base currency must match the cash balance in your account. If it doesn't, you'll need to change your base currency.

How to buy crypto on Swyftx

• App

  1. From  Quick actions in the toolbar, select  Buy.
  2. Search and select the asset you want to buy from the list.
  3. Scroll down and enter an amount or use the slider to confirm how much you want to buy.
  4. You can trade to or from multiple assets into one on Swyftx by selecting the  symbol in the Trade to or Trade from field.
  5. Select Review order details, then select Place order.

• Web

  1. Select  Order on the right side to open the Order panel.
  2. Select + Add asset to choose the assets you want to trade from and trade to.
  3. Enter an amount, a percentage, or use the slider to confirm how much you want to spend. You can toggle between your base currency or the asset you're buying to choose your desired amount.
  4. You can trade to or from multiple assets into one on Swyftx by selecting the  symbol in the Trade to or Trade from field.
  5. Select Review order details, then select Place order.

Buy crypto instantly with Quick Buy

The easiest way to buy crypto is with our Quick Buy feature. Quick Buy simplifies buying and selling crypto with Australian dollars.

Once you select Quick Buy, AUD will auto-fill into the order so that you can trade directly to or from AUD.

  1. Select  Quick buy from either the dashboard, the Quick actions menu, asset pages or wallet pages.
  2. Confirm what asset you would like to buy.
  3. Type in the amount of AUD you want to spend or select from the default options.
  4. Select Review order.
  5. Review the details of your order, including the amount, asset, and fee, then select Buy now.

  1. Select Quick buy from the right side menu, or select Quick Buy from the right of an individual asset page.
  2. Type in the amount of AUD you want to spend, or select from the default options.
  3. Confirm what asset you would like to buy, then select Review order.
  4. Review the details of your order, including the amount, asset, and fee, then select Buy now.
