Card deposits for Australian dollars

Depositing Australian dollars with a card is a quick and secure deposit method.

Australian customers must use an Australian card, and funds will arrive in your Swyftx account in Australian dollars.

Card deposits are available via Visa or Mastercard. It is important to ensure you use a card registered with the same name as your Swyftx account.

How to deposit AUD with a card

  • App

    1. From IsActive_No__InCircle_Yes.svg Quick actions in the toolbar, select deposit_funds.svg Deposit funds.
    2. Select Card as the deposit method, and select Continue.
    3. Enter your name and an amount to deposit and select Start deposit.
    4. Enter your card details in the pop-up payment information section and select Pay.
    5. Select Complete Authentication in the 3D Secure window to complete the deposit.

  • Web

    1. Expand the side menu and select deposit_funds.svg Deposit.
    2. Select a currency from the list.
    3. Select Card from Deposit methods.
    4. Enter an amount to deposit, check the box, and select Continue.
    5. Enter your card details and select Confirm deposit.
    6. Select Complete Authentication in the 3D Secure window to complete the deposit.

Deposit times

Usually instant.

Limits

$30 AUD minimum deposit.

$15,000 AUD per transaction maximum deposit.

Fees for card deposits

1.99% deposit fee.

This fee is taken from your deposit amount. For example, if you deposit $100, you will be credited $98.01.

Your bank may also charge fees.

Verification

We may ask you to complete further verification after depositing.

Your bank may ask you to authorise the deposit with a security code.

Help with card deposits

If your deposit hasn’t arrived yet, check the status of the deposit in transactions.svg Transactions. If your deposit status is still showing as Pending a few minutes after you have completed it, please contact us via the live chat.

If it's your first card deposit, it can take up to 24 hours to arrive due to banks' security measures.

You can also contact your bank to see if they're holding up the deposit.
